Home care
Organize your cleaning supplies safely
Keep tools easy to find and cleaning products stored with care.

Keep products in their original containers
Original packaging preserves the label, safety instructions, and information about appropriate surfaces. Avoid transferring chemicals into food or drink containers. Check labels before use, and dispose of products according to local guidance rather than pouring them together. Never mix cleaning products, especially bleach with ammonia or acids.
Store with children and pets in mind
Use a secure location that children and pets cannot reach, following each product’s storage directions. Keep chemicals away from food and heat sources where required. A portable caddy is convenient during cleaning, but it should not be left unattended where someone could access its contents.
Separate tools by purpose
Keep bathroom cloths separate from those used in kitchens. Wash reusable cloths according to their care instructions and allow tools to dry before storing them. A simple color system can help you remember which cloth belongs where. Replace worn tools that no longer clean effectively or could scratch surfaces.
Build a smaller, more useful kit
You may not need a different product for every task. Choose supplies suited to your actual surfaces and follow manufacturer guidance. Before a professional cleaning visit, mention product sensitivities and special material-care requirements, and confirm whether your preferred supplies can be used.
